Most sessions are 50 minutes long. In some cases, extended sessions may be available if needed, and can be arranged prior to the session.

Everyone’s journey is different. Some people come for a few sessions to work through a specific issue, while others find ongoing support helpful.

Yes — your privacy is extremely important. Everything you share is confidential, except in rare legal or safety situations (like risk of harm to yourself or others). I’ll explain this during our first session.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer that time to another client who may be waiting.

Less than 24 hours notice: You may be charged the full session fee.

No-show or missed appointments: The full fee may also apply.

Continuity in counselling is essential because it builds trust, supports steady progress, and fosters a consistent, reliable therapeutic relationship.

Exceptions may be made for emergencies please get in touch if something unexpected comes up.

If you're running late to a session, please let me know.

If a situation arises that you cannot attend your in person session, an online session can be offered as a last minute alternative. 

Yes. I offer secure video sessions for clients who prefer the flexibility or comfort of online therapy, or for those who may struggle to attend in person sessions. 

Feel free to reach out by email or message for things like scheduling or other practical matters. For therapeutic concerns, I recommend bringing them to our next session, where we can give them the time and attention they deserve.

My location is stated at the bottom of the page, there is a large car park outside the building which you can park free of charge, if you can contact me when your outside the building i can meet you and show you where the room is.
